Annapurna HR was founded by its three partners, Nigel Fox, James Ballard and Charlie Appleyard, with the intention of being the most professional, ethical and responsible recruitment company in its field.

With more than 25 years experience between us, you can be confident that you are dealing with a consultant who genuinely knows what they are doing, with an excellent track record.

All 3 partners come straight from Senior Management roles at a FTSE 250 listed recruitment company and consequently have a wealth of experience of delivery to a wide variety of clientele, from investment banks to charitable organisations.

Nigel is a graduate from the Fuel and Energy Department of the University of Leeds. Prior to founding Annapurna HR, Nigel had a background in recruitment stretching back 9 years encompassing IT, Engineering and HR. He was responsible for the very successful start up of his previous firm's HR division.

Charlie also graduated from the University of Leeds, in Biomedical Sciences. He enjoyed a short career in clinical research before joining the recruitment industry in 2000. He has worked across a number of industries, both permanent and contract disciplines. Charlie has been responsible for highly successful recruitment teams as a manager, but also hugely enjoys working closely with candidates and clients as a consultant.

James graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1999. Following which he spent a year working for the Student Union and as a political intern. He joined the recruitment industry in 2000 and went on to be very successful as both a consultant and a manager in a number of different sectors.
